About Designs in Light

Photography started as a way for me to share my travels with friends and family. After 20 years of "hey, that's really nice", I decided it was time to share them with the rest of the world. 

On these pages you'll find nature and travel photographs from around the world, including some of my favorite places. I hope you like them, too. Read more about why 50% of the proceeds from my photography sales go to non-profits. 

I love to capture patterns in nature of light and dark, curves and lines, hence the name "Designs in Light".

Church Media

Besides photography, I also create media for use in church services. Mostly I'm creating stuff for the church I attend, Resurrection Lutheran in Dublin. But I also spend a lot of time on ChurchMedia.net (CMN), an amazing community of volunteer and paid media ministers and pastors from around the world. We share ideas, graphics and videos, and support one another in our ministries. CMN holds an annual convention to get together and help spread the word about this unique way to spread The Word.
